CYBERSECURITY POLICY

1. Overview

Atlas Trade AI ("the Company") provides automated, AI-driven trading software. This Cybersecurity Policy outlines our commitment to protecting user data, ensuring the integrity of our trading algorithms, and defining the security relationship between our software and third-party financial institutions.

2. Platform & Data Security

We implement a multi-layered security stack to protect the platform and the information transmitted through it:

Encryption: All data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3 (Transport Layer Security). Data at rest, including any stored metadata, is encrypted using AES-256 (Advanced Encryption Standard).

Infrastructure: Our platform is hosted on Tier-3 data center infrastructure that undergoes regular independent audits (SOC 2 Type II) for security, availability, and confidentiality.

Threat Detection: We utilize real-time monitoring and AI-driven telemetry to identify and mitigate anomalies, such as DDoS attacks or unauthorized access attempts.

3. Asset & Brokerage Security (Non-Custodial Model)

Unlike traditional exchanges, Atlas Trade AI prioritizes asset security by operating under a non-custodial framework:

Direct Brokerage Integration: The software integrates directly with major US-based brokerages.

Capital Custody: Atlas Trade AI never takes custody of user funds. Your capital remains onshore, in your name, within your personal brokerage account.

API Permissions: We utilize "Trade-Only" API keys. Our software is technically restricted from withdrawing or transferring funds from your brokerage account.

4. AI Integrity & Risk Management

The core of our service—the Veridian Core and institutional-grade algorithms—is built with defensive parameters:

Built-in Safeguards: Every trading strategy includes mandatory stop-losses and risk-mitigation parameters to prevent catastrophic loss from market volatility.

User Authority: Users retain absolute authority to pause the AI system, adjust risk settings, or override automated actions at any time.

No Training on Personal Data: We do not use your personal trading data or account information to train or "fine-tune" public AI models.

5. User Security Responsibilities

Under our Terms of Service, users are responsible for the following "security hygiene" measures:

Credential Management: You are responsible for the security of your username and password. We strongly recommend the use of a password manager and unique credentials.

Account Monitoring: Users must monitor their brokerage accounts regularly and report any unauthorized trade activity to both the brokerage and Atlas Trade AI immediately.

API Key Safety: You must never share your API secret keys with third parties or enter them into unauthorized software.

6. Incident Response & Data Breach

In the event of a suspected security incident:

Isolation: Affected systems or accounts will be isolated to prevent further impact.

Investigation: Our security team will conduct a forensic analysis to determine the scope of the breach.

Notification: We will notify affected users and relevant regulatory bodies (such as the Privacy Commission) in accordance with applicable laws (e.g., NZ Privacy Act 2020 or GDPR, where applicable).
